Birthday Celebrations
at Junie B. Farms!
Come celebrate your birthday with a unique experience on the farm. Birthday parties are designed to give your child the opportunity to explore nature through the world of goats and gardens. Leave your cake and presents at home and be present on the farm hanging out with the goats, learning about goat care, playing with the kids, and learning farm to table gardening.
Birthday Schedule: 2 Hours Total
Birthday child and adults arrive 15 minutes before the other guests for a sneak peak at being a goat farmer and helping to set up the activities for the day.
Birthday guests arrive and everyone enjoys a fun, educational experience at Junie B. Farms! Activities will last 1.5 hours.
Birthday boy/girl gets to choose the craft, foods served, and goat activities.
After the birthday guests leave, the birthday child is invited to stay an extra 15 minutes to spend some one-on-one time with the goats for pictures and special memories.
Activities May Include:*
Learning about goat care: feeding, brushing, digestion, and kidding.
Hands on milking demonstration and learning how to use the milk to make goat cheese.
Bottle feeding baby goats.
Making goat toys for the goats to play with.
Exploring the garden to learn how to plant and harvest produce.
Learning what to do with the fresh produce when picked.
Participating in farm to table cooking demonstrations.
Each child will get to taste a variety of foods at the party prepared by them in the outdoor kitchen area.
Craft activity included….. choose your craft based on the season.
*Activities are subject to change based on the season, age of the child, the size of the group, and other farm events. The birthday child will get to plan the events that they want to experience at their party.
Rates:
The fee for a two hour birthday party experience is $150.
A $75 non-refundable deposit is needed to secure your date for the birthday party.
Extras: Design a photo calendar of the birthday child’s goat farm experience. Pictures taken from the party will be made into a goat calendar! Your child can enjoy the memories from their party for a whole calendar year! Cost is an extra $30!
Additional Information:
In order to provide the best hands-on-experience, please no more than 12 children in attendance for the birthday party. Also, please have at least 2 adults present for the birthday party celebration!
This birthday party experience is suggested for ages 5 years and up!
Please leave cake, food, and presents at home in order to give the children more time with the farm activities.
Birthday parties are only offered between the months of May-October.
